Two Bard MFA alumnae named 2026 MacArthur Fellows
Announced 29 September 2026: artist Christine Sun Kim (MFA '13) and poet Layli Long Soldier (MFA '14) are among the 20 recipients of the MacArthur 'genius grant', each receiving an $800,000 unrestricted stipend.
