Sotheby's has set out the highlights of its High Jewelry Sale in Geneva, scheduled for Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at the Mandarin Oriental hotel. The auction is built around four coloured diamonds, each carrying a seven-figure estimate in Swiss francs, and a wider selection spanning important diamonds, rare coloured stones and signed historic jewels.

The leading lot is an 8.63-carat Fancy Intense Pink diamond, estimated at CHF 3.3-5 million, or roughly $4-6 million. It is joined by a Graff ring set with a 2.88-carat pear-shaped Fancy Deep Blue diamond, estimated at CHF 1.7-2.5 million, and an unmounted 8.11-carat cushion-cut Fancy Pink diamond at the same estimate range. The quartet is completed by an unmounted 18.03-carat step-cut Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond, estimated at CHF 850,000-1.6 million.

Beyond the headline stones, the sale covers the categories Geneva buyers follow most closely: important diamonds, scarce coloured gemstones, historic pieces and creations from the great jewellery houses. Names on the roster include Boucheron, Bulgari, Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels, together with Bhagat and JAR, the Paris house known for one-of-a-kind commissions.

The Geneva sale lands in the middle of the autumn jewellery season, when the city's salerooms traditionally draw international collectors ahead of the winter holidays. With coloured diamonds anchoring the catalogue, Sotheby's is pitching the sale at buyers chasing rarity and colour rather than size alone, a segment that has held up well even as other parts of the luxury market have cooled. A Bulgari sapphire and diamond necklace, estimated at CHF 130,000-200,000, is among the illustrated highlights, showing how signed jewels sit alongside the unmounted stones at the top of the catalogue.
