Stockholm's Bukowskis will put the visual art of musician Jonatan Leandoer Håstad — known worldwide as the rapper Yung Lean — up for auction for the first time. The online sale, titled 'Jonatan Leandoer Håstad, Selected Works' and running from 15 to 25 October, gathers nine sculptures and three paintings chosen by the artist himself. The house announced the collaboration on 5 October, presenting it as his debut on the international auction market. Every work in the sale comes from 'Collected Works 2016–2026,' Håstad's first public exhibition, which remains on view in Stockholm until 11 October. The show pulls together a decade of studio production from the Swedish artist, who first rose to prominence in the early 2010s as one of the defining voices of cloud rap and has since grown into a global youth-culture phenomenon spanning music, fashion and design. According to the auction house, Håstad's visual practice stands apart from his songs. Entirely self-taught, he works across painting, sculpture, collage, ceramics and moving image, returning repeatedly to figures, landscapes and symbolic motifs. Pieces made between 2022 and 2026 share a stream-of-consciousness method — the same instinct-led approach that drives his songwriting — and form what the house describes as an independent body of work with its own visual language and internal logic. Bukowskis' head of art said the sale aims to introduce his work to collectors while broadening understanding of his practice beyond music. For the auction house, one of Scandinavia's oldest and most prominent, the consignment continues a push toward contemporary-culture lots aimed at younger buyers. Bidding opens online on 15 October and closes ten days later.
