V&A strike suspended: 29–30 October closures called off as unions enter Acas talks
Prospect and PCS have suspended the V&A strike planned for 29–30 October after an improved offer from the museum, so the East-site closures and reduced South Kensington offer for those half-term days no longer apply; Acas-facilitated talks follow instead.

The V&A strike planned for Thursday 29 and Friday 30 October has been suspended, so the half-term closures and reduced opening announced for those two days no longer apply.
Both unions behind the action — Prospect and the Public and Commercial Services (PCS) union — confirmed the suspension on Monday 26 October, citing an improved offer from the museum. The London sites are to remain open, with the unions entering Acas-facilitated talks with museum management instead of walking out.
The suspension does not settle the dispute itself: pay, working conditions and London Living Wage accreditation remain under negotiation, and further talks are scheduled. It does, however, supersede the visitor-impact plan announced for 29–30 October, under which V&A East Museum and V&A East Storehouse were to close and South Kensington was to run a reduced offer.
