Sohn Hyunlok's film The Birds has received an official invitation to the 31st Busan International Film Festival, the Korea National University of Arts announced on 1 September 2026. The selection continues the school's strong track record of placing student and alumni work at major festivals, and puts K-Arts' film programme in the spotlight during one of Asia's most important cinema events.
