Sixteen Australian artists have received Creative Australia fellowships worth AUD 80,000 each over up to two years, recognising sustained creative achievement across disciplines.

Creative Australia has awarded its 2026 fellowships to sixteen leading artists, each receiving AUD 80,000 over up to two years to support ambitious new work. The fellowships recognise sustained creative excellence across art forms, with recipients including playwright Jane Harrison, artist Zeppelin Hamilton, musician Katie Noonan, artist Amrita Hepi, artist Angela Valamanesh, performer Brian Fuata and artist Heidi Everett. The awards give recipients extended time and resources to develop new projects without commercial pressure.
