ArtEvol 2026: A View from Everywhere, the annual group exhibition organised by London Art Collective, opened at the Saatchi Gallery on 3 October and runs until 11 October 2026. Presented in Gallery 3 with free entry and no booking required, the show brings together up to 50 artists selected through an international open call, spanning painting, sculpture, installation, photography, moving image and digital media. Curated by Nelson Qin, the exhibition takes perspective itself as its theme: no single vantage point can see everything, so the show places different positions side by side in a salon-style hang, allowing unexpected connections across geography, medium and subject to surface rather than flattening them into one message. An international jury of curators, artists, critics and scholars selected works for the clarity of each artist's practice and what each contributes to the whole, choosing up to 50 artists from the open call. The organisers describe the show as a space for genuine exchange, where different perspectives sit in conversation with one another rather than being resolved into a single point of view. That framing shaped the jury's criteria: the strength and exploratory nature of each practice, a distinctive cultural, social or personal perspective, and the work's potential to create dialogue across career stages, generations and backgrounds. Submissions were open to all media, from painting and printmaking to sound, performance and text-based art. Now in its fifth year, ArtEvol has grown from an experimental platform for independent artists into an international curatorial project examining how contemporary art is produced, presented and valued, with editions in London and Paris. This year's presentation at one of London's most-visited galleries gives the open-call format its largest stage yet, offering a collective snapshot of emerging practice across generations and cultures.
