Aon's fine-art insurance broker Huntington T. Block brings in Emily Schaffer as senior VP
Huntington T. Block Insurance Agency, Aon plc's specialist fine art and musical instrument insurance broker, has appointed Emily Schaffer as senior vice president of fine art insurance. Based in New York, Schaffer joins from Risk Strategies Company, where she was vice president and team leader for fine arts, and will serve as the day-to-day contact for key fine art accounts, reporting to president Diane Jackson.
Huntington T. Block Insurance Agency, described as the oldest and largest US insurance broker dedicated to fine art and musical instrument insurance, has hired Emily Schaffer as senior vice president of fine art insurance, reported on 23 September 2026. Schaffer, based in New York, arrives from Risk Strategies Company, where she was vice president and team leader for fine arts. In the new role she will be the day-to-day contact for key fine art accounts and will report to Huntington T. Block president Diane Jackson. She brings more than 15 years of experience designing and managing complex global insurance programs for museums, galleries, auction houses, multinational corporations and private collectors, and has been named a Fine Art Power Broker by Risk & Insurance Magazine five times.
