Victoria Miro Pairs 14-Artist Art Basel Paris Booth With Stan Douglas's Largest Paris Survey in 30 Years
Victoria Miro takes Booth B17 at Art Basel Paris (Avant-Première 20 Oct, previews 21–22 Oct) with Kusama, Perry, Ofili and 11 more — alongside Stan Douglas: Parallax at the Jeu de Paume from 20 October, the artist's largest Paris survey in over 30 years.

Victoria Miro will take Booth B17 at Art Basel Paris 2026, opening with the fair's invite-only Avant-Première on 20 October and running through the public days to 25 October. The London gallery's presentation names fourteen artists across its programme: Milton Avery, Hernan Bas, Stan Douglas, Chantal Joffe, Yayoi Kusama, Wangechi Mutu, Chris Ofili, Grayson Perry, Paula Rego, Shahzia Sikander, Hedda Sterne, Sarah Sze, Adriana Varejão and Clare Woods — a line-up that pairs blue-chip market names like Kusama and Perry with painters the gallery has shown for decades.
The same week gives the gallery a second front in Paris. Stan Douglas: Parallax opens at the Jeu de Paume on 20 October, billed as the artist's largest survey exhibition in the city in over 30 years. It traces Douglas's career from the 1980s to the present across films, video installations and photographic series, and the gallery pairs the fair booth with an artist talk and book signing on Tuesday 20 October at 6pm.
Beyond the booth and the survey, the gallery's Paris diary extends into December: Ali Banisadr's Talisman continues at the Musée national Gustave Moreau until 7 December, the museum's launch of a new carte blanche programme inviting contemporary artists into dialogue with the visionary 19th-century painter on the bicentenary of his birth. For a gallery arriving at the fair's fifth Grand Palais edition, the week reads as a deliberately layered Paris presence — fair booth, museum survey and institutional off-site all landing within days of each other.
