The Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam will present Yoshitoshi: Master of the Moon from 1 October 2026 to 4 January 2027, an exhibition dedicated to Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (1839-1892). Often described as the last great master of traditional Japanese printmaking, Yoshitoshi is presented through his powerful woodblock imagery - including prints from One Hundred Aspects of the Moon - created as Japan moved from the Edo period toward the modernisation of the Meiji era.
