South London Gallery Sells New Editions by Pjota and Austen at Frieze's Allied Editions Booth
South London Gallery is at Frieze London this week on the Allied Editions booth, offering new editions by Paulo Nimer Pjota and David Austen alongside works by Chila Kumari Burman and Yinka Shonibare, with proceeds supporting the gallery's work.

South London Gallery has headed to Frieze London this week, taking a place on the Allied Editions booth — the fair's long-running platform where London's leading non-profit art spaces sell affordable editions. The fair runs from 14 to 18 October 2026 in Regent's Park, with preview days on 14 and 15 October.
This year the gallery is sharing new editions by Paulo Nimer Pjota and David Austen, alongside works by Chila Kumari Burman and Yinka Shonibare. Proceeds from sales go directly to supporting the gallery's work with artists and its local communities in Peckham and Camberwell. The booth sits alongside fellow non-profits including Camden Art Centre, Chisenhale Gallery, the ICA, Serpentine, Studio Voltaire and Whitechapel Gallery, all selling editions to fund their programmes.
Allied Editions has been a fixture of Frieze London for years, offering collectors an accessible entry point — from editions priced in the tens of pounds to works by established names — while channelling funds back into the public institutions that produce them. Frieze London ticket buyers also receive a discount on selected editions at the booth, a small incentive that has become part of the fair's ritual.
The SLG is keeping special Frieze Week hours, opening Tuesday to Sunday, 11am–6pm, with a late opening until 9pm on Wednesday. The gallery's main building on Peckham Road is currently showing 'Monika Sosnowska: Weight of Matter', free to visit until 22 November, in which the Polish artist transforms familiar architectural structures — staircases that bend, structures that collapse — into unexpected forms.
