The Sharjah Art Foundation has announced the programme for Sharjah Biennial 17, the next edition of the long-running contemporary art survey, which will run from 21 January to 13 June 2027 across 11 venues in the emirate. The edition brings together 109 participants, including artists, collectives and researchers, and is presented as a major milestone in the biennial's history. In parallel, the foundation confirmed that the March Meeting 2027, its annual convening of artists, curators and thinkers, will take place from 19 to 21 March 2027. The announcements signal one of the largest editions of the biennial to date, extending the programme across more than twenty weeks of exhibitions, commissions and public events.
