CIMAM announced the two winners of the sixth OMPA edition on 17 September 2026 in Barcelona, from 33 nominations across 21 countries; the other recipient is Brazil's Associação Cultural Acervo da Laje. 'Parallel Views' pairs museumgoers with visual disabilities with non-impaired visitors to view exhibitions together, using tactile resources, 3-D models and audio descriptions. Begun this year in collaboration with the Purme Foundation and supported by Volvo Car Korea, the programme exemplifies the jury's interest in community-rooted models of engagement that move beyond outreach.
