Sixteenth-century paintings at Villa Silvestri Rivaldi have re-emerged after centuries out of view.
Restorers have uncovered sixteenth-century murals inside Rome’s Villa Silvestri Rivaldi, The Art Newspaper reports. The paintings had been hidden for roughly 300 years. The report attributes them to prominent artists of their period.
