Qatar Museums highlighted the protection of Qatar's archaeological heritage through a dedicated awareness campaign at the S'hail 2026 exhibition, held at Katara Cultural Village from 8 to 12 September 2026. Led by the Archaeology and Heritage Department, the Qatar Museums pavilion invited visitors to discover the country's archaeological sites and learn about the collective responsibility to safeguard them, with informational materials and activities on documentation, study and conservation work.
