Seoul's Frieze fair week saw PKM Gallery mount a presentation of key works by twelve artists, pairing Korean modern masters with international positions. Yun Hyong-keun was represented by signature works from the 1970s to the 1990s, coinciding with the gallery's solo exhibition Reimagine Yun Hyong-keun and the public opening of the Yun Hyong-keun House on 1 September. Yoo Youngkuk's 1989 painting Work appeared amid growing institutional attention, including a retrospective marking the 110th anniversary of his birth. Among contemporary highlights was a large-scale new work by Olafur Eliasson exploring lens flares, light and perception, alongside Koo Jeong-a, Keunmin Lee, Suh Seung-Won, CHUNG Hyun, Jungjin Lee, Young In Hong, Young Do Jeong, Wonwoo Lee and SAMBYPEN. The fair ran from 2 to 5 September as part of a packed Seoul art week with Kiaf Seoul's 25th anniversary edition.
