30th Anniversary Benefit: 85+ Artworks Auctioned With Phillips to Fund Grants for Artists Living With Cancer
The Rema Hort Mann Fund announced its 30th Anniversary Gala and Art Auction on October 19, staged in partnership with Phillips. More than 85 donated artworks go on sale online from October 19 to 28, with a live auction at Tribeca Rooftop on October 28, to expand the fund's grantmaking for artists living with cancer.

The Rema Hort Mann Fund has unveiled the artist roster for its 30th Anniversary Gala and Art Auction, a benefit staged in partnership with Phillips and announced on October 19. The celebration takes place at Tribeca Rooftop in New York on October 28, and the proceeds will support an expansion of the fund's grantmaking, including its Artists Living with Cancer grant, which directs support to artists navigating a cancer diagnosis.
The offering spans more than 85 artworks, sold through two channels. An online sale hosted on Phillips.com runs from October 19 through October 28, and the lots will be exhibited at the gala, where a separate live auction will offer four additional pieces. Collectors unable to attend in person can register to bid by telephone, extending the reach of the anniversary sale beyond the room.
The works have been donated by emerging and established artists, among them alumni of the fund's Emerging Artists Fellowship Grant program, underscoring the organization's habit of turning its grantees into future benefactors. Highlighted lots include Fred Tomaselli's Eagle and Teal (2025), an acrylic, photo collage and resin work on wood panel measuring 24 by 24 inches, and Cristina BanBan's Duo (2026), an oil on linen measuring 59 by 43 inches.
The partnership draws on Phillips' long history of stewarding modern and contemporary art and its international community of collectors. For the fund, the milestone auction is both a celebration of three decades of backing artists and a practical push to widen a program that gets resources directly to artists at a moment of acute need.
