Eric N. Mack's new textile-based works continue his exploration of materiality, gesture and the painted surface. In You Red the Shirt Off My Back, fabric becomes both support and subject, with the artist draping, dyeing and stitching cloth into expansive compositions. The exhibition opened September 10 at Paula Cooper Gallery in New York.
