Paris's Musée de l'Orangerie is marking the centenary of Claude Monet's death with a new exhibition devoted to his late painting. 'Monet: Painting Time' opens on 30 September 2026 and examines how the artist pursued questions of time, light and perception in the decades leading up to his death in 1926. The show is one of several major Paris openings anchoring the autumn exhibition season. It adds a scholarly counterpoint to the blockbuster presentations elsewhere in the city this fall.
