The Opificio delle Pietre Dure in Florence has completed a four-year conservation and research project on Giotto's Bardi Chapel frescoes, the 'Stories of St Francis,' in Santa Croce. The restored cycle is now back on view. The work combined technical analysis with traditional restoration methods.
