Oxford's Pitt Rivers Museum launched its inaugural Te Māori fellowship, a new residency programme deepening the museum's relationship with Māori culture. The first fellows, Chanel Coromandel, Hamuera Manihera and Paora Tibble, begin residencies running from 12 October to 29 November. The fellowship reflects a wider shift in UK museums toward partnership and knowledge-sharing with source communities, with the Pitt Rivers positioning the programme as a long-term commitment rather than a one-off project.
