The Audience Agency, the UK arts sector's audience data and research body, went into liquidation on 10 September, the Museums Journal reported on 14 September. The organisation had run up a deficit of £474,000, leaving it unable to continue operating. Its closure removes a widely used source of audience insight and benchmarking for theatres, galleries and cultural organisations across the country.
