Kate MacGarry Brings Rana Begum, Lisa Milroy and Francis Upritchard to Frieze London Booth C3
Kate MacGarry is presenting works by Rana Begum, Rio Kobayashi, Lisa Milroy, Dawn Ng and Francis Upritchard at Booth C3 of Frieze London, which runs 14–18 October 2026 in Regent's Park.

Kate MacGarry is returning to Frieze London this week with a group presentation at Booth C3, bringing together works by five artists: Rana Begum, Rio Kobayashi, Lisa Milroy, Dawn Ng and Francis Upritchard. The gallery announced its lineup on Instagram as the fair opened its preview days, sharing installation views of the stand photographed by Angus Mill.
The booth spotlights Milroy's 'Mountain No. 1' (2025), part of her ongoing series of mountain peaks rendered in quick, heavily loaded brush marks that leave the solid form feeling unfixed and unstable. The blue beyond the peaks ambiguously suggests both sky and ocean, a hallmark of the looseness Milroy brings to a seemingly enduring subject. The presentation spans painting and sculpture across the five artists, with works by Begum, Kobayashi, Ng and Upritchard joining the new canvas.
Frieze London 2026 runs from 14 to 18 October in Regent's Park, with preview days on 14 and 15 October and public opening from 15 October. The fair's exhibitor list this year counts some 172 galleries in its main section. Kate MacGarry — the London gallery founded in 2002 on Redchurch Street, now based in Shoreditch — is a longstanding participant, having shown at the fair since its earliest editions and at more than sixty art fairs worldwide.
Beyond the fair, the gallery is currently showing Bernard Piffaretti's 'Painting & Caption' at its Shoreditch space until 14 November, the artist's third solo show with Kate MacGarry. The gallery is also taking part in the Gallery Climate Coalition's '10% Of' initiative during Frieze Week, redirecting the customary collector discount on nominated works toward climate action alongside Hauser & Wirth, Thaddaeus Ropac, Victoria Miro and others.
