The announcement pairs a major legacy project with a physical expansion: the gallery has acquired the former Marlborough space at 545 West 25th Street in Chelsea for $7.5 million. The new New York location opens September 23, 2026, with 'Put the Kettle On,' while the London gallery continues its program with a growing roster of historically overlooked artists. At The Armory Show 2026, the gallery also placed a large historic Fenichel canvas with a major private European museum for around $200,000 — a signal of rising institutional interest in her work. Fenichel, a central figure in mid-century California abstraction, is being reintroduced to a market increasingly attentive to women artists of her generation.
