Frieze Seoul 2026 closed on September 5 after drawing more than 70,000 visitors from 54 countries, with 178 museums and institutions from 25 countries attending — both figures the fair's widest international reach to date. The fifth edition brought together more than 130 galleries from 30 countries, over 70 percent of them from across Asia-Pacific. Opening-day sales were led by Thaddaeus Ropac's €1.1 million sale of Adrian Ghenie's Figure with Funerary Stele, alongside strong institutional buying across the region.
