The Fondation Beyeler has begun a preview period for its major expansion designed by Atelier Peter Zumthor, opening to visitors on 26 September 2026. The project adds three new buildings - the Wyss Museum, the Ammann Pavilion and the Erlen Torhaus - alongside restored historic buildings and almost 10,000 square metres of new parkland. The Wyss Museum contributes roughly 1,500 square metres of additional exhibition space. The preview runs through 14 January 2027 ahead of a full opening on 15 January 2027, with the inaugural exhibition Constellations (26 September 2026 - 5 September 2027) assembling more than 200 works.
