FOG Design+Art will mount the largest edition in its history this coming January, naming more than 75 exhibitors for its 13th outing. The San Francisco fair runs January 21–24, 2027, at the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture, and the roster is roughly 20 percent bigger than last year's — about 13 additional galleries. Fifty exhibitors will fill the main FOG Pavilion, while the curated FOG FOCUS section grows to 26 presentations and, for the first time, spreads onto a second floor.

The lineup mixes returning heavyweights with notable comebacks. David Zwirner, Lisson, Marian Goodman Gallery, Mendes Wood DM and Hauser & Wirth are all back, while Michael Rosenfeld Gallery, Commonwealth and Council and Chris Sharp Gallery return after sitting out the 2026 edition. White Cube, Sprüth Magers and Tanya Bonakdar Gallery rejoin after longer absences. Fifteen galleries are new to the fair entirely, among them P.P.O.W, Taka Ishii Gallery, Thomas Dane Gallery, Matthew Brown, VeneKlasen, LAMB, Mariposa and GALERIE 1900-2000, with dealers traveling in from Mexico City, Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo, São Paulo, London, Paris and Berlin.

Fair director Sydney Blumenkranz said the fair received more applications than ever before, calling 2027 "our strongest edition to date." The growth brings physical changes: the expanded FOCUS floor will host a lounge and full-service dining by A16, and the popular FOG Talks series moves to the Cowell Theater inside the FOCUS venue. The fair opens with a preview gala on January 20 benefiting the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, with honorary chairs Kaitlyn and Mike Krieger alongside Jennifer and Joe Montana.

The announcement lands as San Francisco's January art week keeps gathering momentum, with the fourth edition of SF Art Week running January 16–24, 2027, around the fair. For a regional fair that has steadily scaled up from its design-world roots, the 2027 expansion is a clear statement of intent: FOG wants to be the West Coast's winter anchor, not just a local favorite.
