Saatchi Gallery is hosting FOCUS Asian Contemporary Art London 2026 this week, a fair dedicated to contemporary Asian art and the Asian diaspora. The edition runs from 15 to 18 October at the gallery's Chelsea venue and is themed 'Cultural Dialogue', exploring how different cultures, histories and perspectives connect through contemporary art.

The fair brings together galleries and artists from across Asia and the diaspora, with practices ranging from traditional materials and techniques to digital and AI-based work. The 2026 London edition features a strong Korean contingent — dozens of artists working across painting, mixed media, photography, traditional craft and AI-assisted digital painting — alongside galleries from across East and Southeast Asia and the Middle East, presenting everything from oil on canvas to pointillism and lacquerware.

Beyond the exhibition stands, FOCUS is running a programme of symposiums, workshops, yoga sessions and performances, positioning art as a catalyst for cross-cultural exchange and new connections. Founded in Paris in 2019, FOCUS has grown into a multi-city platform staging editions at venues including the Louvre in Paris, Saatchi Gallery in London and Chelsea Industrial in New York, with further editions in Paris and New York under the same 'Cultural Dialogue' banner.

The fair lands during one of the busiest weeks in the London art calendar, coinciding with Frieze London and Frieze Masters in Regent's Park and a crowded field of satellite fairs: PAD London in Berkeley Square, 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair at Somerset House, the Affordable Art Fair's autumn edition in Battersea Park, the new artist-led Fair Play at One Marylebone, and Minor Attractions at The Newman hotel.
