EMMA has opened what it describes as a long-awaited retrospective of Howard Smith, the artist whose career bridges Finland and international contemporary practice. The exhibition surveys work from 1965 to 2010, tracing his evolution across painting, print and mixed media. It opened on 5 September 2026 and runs through 7 February 2027. For EMMA it is a major homecoming show for an artist with deep Finnish roots.
