National Gallery Singapore and the Singapore Art Museum have announced a leadership transition: Chng Hak-Peng will become chief executive of NGS from January 1, 2027, succeeding Dr Eugene Tan. The move reshuffles leadership across Singapore's two flagship art institutions at a moment of major programming investment. The transition was announced jointly by the institutions.
