Portuguese artist Inês Zenha opened Murky Waters at the Centro de Arte Moderna Gulbenkian on 19 September 2026, an immersive exhibition combining paintings, sculpture, adobe structures, ceramics and water. The installation, on view through 8 February 2027, creates a total environment in which natural materials and crafted objects meet, reflecting on ecological fragility and sensory experience. The show opened alongside The Exhibition of a Dream as part of the centre's autumn announcements. Zenha's use of earth and water as artistic media underlines the Gulbenkian's interest in materially grounded contemporary practice.
