Frieze Week may be associated with multimillion-dollar lots, but Artsy's editors have gone looking at the other end of the market, selecting eight favorite works priced under $10,000 from the 2026 London art fairs.

Among the picks is Hannah Tilson's Still Here (2026), presented by Cedric Bardawil at £2,500 ($3,340). The Scottish artist works in what she calls patternscapes, building kinetic scenes from layers of fabric in primary colors through which a lightly depicted face emerges. Measuring just 30.5 by 40.5 centimeters and painted on panel rather than her usual paper, the work was made with paint Tilson mixes herself to ensure its longevity.

Also selected is Diederik Schneemann's Matchbox Mini Clock (2026), presented by Rademakers Gallery at €5,000 ($5,628). The Dutch designer assembled hundreds of matchbooks collected from restaurants, bars, cafés and hotels during his travels into a fully functional timepiece, housed in a cabinet built from thrift-shop paintings — a nostalgic meditation on souvenirs, nights out and the passage of time.

The roundup spans the week's fairs and their satellites, including PAD London, which runs through October 18 on Berkeley Square with twentieth-century furniture by Finn Juhl and Jean Prouvé alongside contemporary pieces by Samuel Ross and Misha Kahn. Works by artists including Corinna Gosmaro, shown with Gillian Jason Gallery, also made the editors' list. The selection underscores that the October fair circuit rewards attention at its lower tiers as well as its headline-grabbing top end — and that the week's smaller booths remain fertile ground for collectors working at accessible price points.
